Betty is a Gemological Institute of America Graduate Gemologist, an
Accredited Jewelry Professional and Executive Director of the Hawaii
Jewelers Association from 1981 through 1991. Betty also has been the
Instructor of the Jewelry and Gemology Department for the University of
Hawaii. The award was presented at the Fall Banquet Saturday October 25th, at the New Otani Kaimana Beach Hotel. The Hawaii Jewelers Association serves as the retail jewelry industry's
primary trade and professional association in Hawaii. The Hawaii
jewelers Association (HJA) is a state affiliate of The Jewelers of
America (JA).
HONOLULU, HAWAII - The Hawaii Jewelers Association, Bruce Bucky of
Hildgund Jewelry, President, has awarded Betty Harada, the Hawaii
